In cooperation with Afrotopia Black Academy
In this community cooking workshop you will explore new recipes, cooking traditions, and techniques inspired by North African culinary arts, Salah Zater‘s travels and community cooking experiences. The workshop is also about laughing together and building a warm, welcoming kitchen community where everyone belongs. We come together to learn, share, and create - and of course eat - delicious meals in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Discover and prepare traditional North African recipes such as couscous, tagine, soups, fresh salads, and many more. Explore the use of authentic spices, herbs, and ingredients, and learn how to balance flavors and textures. Understand the cultural stories and traditions behind each dish. Present your food with love and care, from chopping and seasoning to slow-cooking and plate presentation. We’ll celebrate cultural diversity!
